Katy is a full-time makeup artist and owner of Team KMC, LLC. She is based out of Bowling Green, Kentucky, only 45 minutes from the Nashville area! Katy has many years of experience on set, planning large events with her fully trained staff, and traveling for destination weddings and elopements. She has a strong passion for making women feel beautiful. This passion started with her background competing in pageants and from cheering for Western Kentucky University. Katy held many titles through her years of pageantry, including Miss Kentucky United States. At the national Miss United States Pageant, she placed third runner up and captured the Miss Congeniality award. 

After her reign, Katy became the state director for the Miss KY US pageant until she pursued creating Team KMC. Her upbeat, positive, and encouraging team travels across the country providing hair and makeup services for various pageant systems while keeping contestants stress free and laughing through each brush stroke! Team KMC’s organization makes pageant day a breeze, with each client having their own, non-hurried time slot. Katy also provides courses in makeup and hair for when you need to do your own glam!

In addition to pageantry, Katy has had the opportunity to provide makeup artistry for many commercials, TV appearances, international and national advertisement campaigns, photoshoots, e-commerce fashion shoots for national brands, bridal, and editorial. She can’t wait to help you feel your best through styling, makeup, hair, guidance for your next cheerleading tryout/interviews, and all phases of pageant coaching as well!
